Our Creator and CEO of Yvette’s Kitchen is a native of Ohio, and she currently lives in South Carolina. She has been making this special Sugoi Sauce for 18 years by consistently tweaking and perfecting it! The Japanese word, Sugoi, once meant awful, but our CEO says “They’ve changed it’s meaning to “Great, Amazing and WOW!” If you think that’s amazing, continue reading! Our creator quotes “I’ve always had a love and a passion for cooking, but gained and even greater desire to prepare healthy meals, after witnessing the health issues with my great grandmother and my mother.” And what better way is there to building back strong family ties, than conversations around the kitchen table? Yvette’s Kitchen LLC endeavors to create conversation space at your family kitchen tables, by providing her Sugoi Sauce to consumers all over the world starting at the beginning of 2020.
Our CEO, Millicent, has over 35 years of cooking experience.
She recently had the pleasure and opportunity to work closely with the South Carolina State Consumer Food Safety Program through Clemson University’s Cooperative Extension!
She also completed her ServSafe Manager’s Certification, which gives her the ability to provide samples of her sauce to customers in grocery stores and to operate as a vendor at events.

Our CEO would love to get a contract with even the school districts, and she also believes that internships with the High Schools will create a platform for entrepreneurs to continue into this legacy of healthy cooking skills. The foundation with the skill and knowledge earned, is given to those who want better! She quotes, "I’m amazed that this recipe I’ve been making for 18 years, is healthier than my competitors!" This special sauce has no preservatives in it, and has also been tested at Clemson University, with a nutritional label proving our facts against the other sauces.

Our CEO Millicent shares, “My sauce will be available in environmental-friendly pouches. The sizes will vary from 2.5, 3.5, 5.5 oz and larger. The pricing will range from $6 to $15. For people who fly and want to pack a nutritious meal or for mothers looking for a healthier way to send their children to school, the pouches are the way to go! I recently visited HSN in Tampa, FL and the quirky executives really enjoyed the sauce. I am reinventing the wheel as to how people eat spaghetti sauce. My sauce can also be made for freezer consumption.”

“I did try the sauce, and it's phenomenal! I actually posted something about it on my Instagram account. We ate it with spiralized zucchini. Both my wife and I were very impressed! Specifically the spices tasted very fresh and well incorporated into the sauce. The oregano and fennel were the highlights, but it tasted like there were other spices in there as well, which gave depth and richness to the flavor. It didn't seem too salty, which was great. The tomatoes were nice and chunky and were extremely flavorful. And having meat already in the sauce made preparation remarkably quick and easy!"

Several months ago, I had the opportunity of tasting Millicent's homemade spaghetti sauce. Prior to tasting the sauce, I decided to eliminate certain foods from my diet, including spaghetti sauce. This conclusion was rooted in my experience with acid reflux after eating lasagna from a local restaurant several weeks prior. When the opportunity presented itself to try the homemade sauce, my love for spaghetti trumped any digestion issues I could potentially encounter after I consumed the sauce. I first sampled a small portion of the sauce with noodles. After consumption, I waited for an adverse reaction to the sauce. An hour passed, and acid reflux was nowhere to be found! Approximately two hours later, I consumed more of the sauce, and didn't experience any issues with digestion. Curious to find out if I would have the same experience, the following day, I consumed the same meal. I was amazed that I did not encounter acid reflux after consuming the same meal on three occasions. I have no intentions to purchase any sauce other than the homemade sauce that is prepared by Millicent!

Vaughn and I totally enjoyed the sauce. We waited until Sunday at lunch, prepared some noodles, heated the sauce and inhaled it. It was fabulous! Flavor and texture was perfect!
